After all this attention, I have a feeling that the birthday present won't be a surprise.

Either way, he was expecting to get it at that price, and the dealership agreed to sell it at that price. Ebay auctions are a binding contract, so yeah. You can't back out of a legally binding contract, and then tell the other party "Well, you didn't lose any money on it, so why don't you just walk away and forget

Wow, yeah, you're a lucky man. I live at home, which offsets some of my costs, but other than that my parents pay for the insurance on my truck. I've got some scholarships, which help, and I'm working, but I still have to sell my truck and buy something cheaper and better on gas to stay out of debt.

Sigh.

More like a book... seriously he has so many stories.

Cue the understeering Ducati jokes...

Roger that, Koala Team A. Irwin Mitigation Plan C is a go.

I'm not so sure about that. You can put pretty much anyone with the passy Sedin and they'll score, he's so good. Hell, the coach put Maxim Lapierre, the little pest who does nothing useful except for being a pain in the ass, and he scored in 3 consecutive games.

Keep in mind that if Lou get's shaky, the Canucks can put Cory Schneider in net. He's proven himself to be capable of a #1 position. The Kings really don't stand a chance.

Yep. And I don't even have to look up any statistics to tell you that hockey absolutely demolished every other sport in ratings in Canada.

I think you get like 60 points per survey, and a single car costs 260, something like 450 for a whole pack.

In the past year I've seen two of them pop up locally (within 3 hours driving distance of me). One was a project car, and the guy wanted $3k. Gone within 10 hours of posting. The other one was running, wanted $7k. Gone in 2 days.

Phaetons were so overengineered, that's what made them brilliant. I know of at least two regular Jalopnik commenters who own them.

Proportions just look... off. I would take a Miura over that anyday.

On the American side of the pond, the 190e has been all but forgotten. Which is a shame.

I'm not a fan of the taillights. Didn't like them on the Charger, don't like them here.

Even if it's not, you can join Microsoft Rewards Points club or something like that, and win points by taking a survey once a week, and you'll have enough to buy an individual car in no time.

Hot damn. It's like the Panoz, but without those annoying headlights. Also, 91 is my default number choice when I create a livery in Forza, so it makes me happy that I won't have to modify this one.

I really have no problem with this at all. If the specifications are too tight, it just becomes stock car racing. Variation between vehicles is what makes ALMS racing exciting. Bending the rules allows innovation to trickle its way down into the consumer market. If the Viper kills the rest of the field then I'm sure
