Time travel is not at all made up. There's basically two different ways it could logically work. I'm not that interested in exactly the physics of it here, I meant more like why and what lead to time travel events in the show. They seemed to happen when the writers needed them to.

I completely disagree with his Lost critique, not that the ending didn't work, but why. We don't need to know the whole backstory, the problem was that they didn't answer the questions that the fans were interested in, and the ones they did answer had many holes.
