I remember watching it on TVO as a child.
I think remaking Verhoeven movies is a great idea. The themes of his sci-fi films are much more relevant now than when they were released, and there's a lot of opportunity for re-imagining them.

One of the worst things about the suckfest that the Abed-Troy bromance became was the fact that the stupid things they did never got called out. I hope this is a trend.
Holy shit. That episode was great. Probably my favourite since RCT. More pizza, please. Goddamn was that fantastic. Maybe the best B-plot (C-plot? With Chang and the others?) ever.

Eh, people tend to forget that the Vietcong (and NVA) were nasty, nasty pieces of work, waaay nastier than the government the US was propping up in the South. You don't have a couple million people take to the sea in barely floating boats and rafts to escape you if you're nice guys.
