Wisconsin fan here, so we tend to be on BTN less often since we’re a consistent top 10 team now. Usually just a couple games against Indiana or Rutgers on BTN, but tmost of the games are on ESPN or ABC.

I thought about this, and realized just how little ESPN I watch anymore. MLB.tv covers all of the baseball save for the Sunday night games; Monday Night Football doesn’t interest me unless my team is playing; they don’t carry hockey, and I don’t follow the NBA until the playoffs. So really, if they weren’t a primary…
It’s fair to say that Gonzaga is a unique case in D1 basketball. They play in a true mid-major conference, the WCC, which, while it has strong basketball traditions (San Francisco won two titles, Santa Clara has reached a Final Four, Loyola Marymount had a few years of success, and St. Mary’s has been a top-25 team),…
I do kinda love the idea of Lebron as a 1986 Bill Walton type sixth man for the 2023 Spurs or 76ers or something.
If I were to hazard a guess, I’d say 3-4 more years of this Lebron, followed by 2-3 years of graceful Tim Duncan-esque decline, where he never comes close to sucking, but maybe the box scores look more like 18-8-10 instead of 35-15-15.
Even paying out of pocket, the $40/month I pay for Delta Sky Club is worth it. On normal travel weeks (no delays), you can pop in for a quick snack and drink between flights. Figure you’ll spend $10-15 on that anyhow, so every week travelers come out ahead.
Angel Stadium has a litle convenience store thing on the main concourse. It’s probably $4 for two Advil, but it’s there.
I think we’ll see smaller colleges (think D-3 liberal arts schools) start closing down their football programs in the next 10-20 years, both to save money and because the students they attract aren’t playing high school football anymore. How far that ripple effect reaches will be worth watching. Will the Ivy League…
With the exception of maybe Mike Webster, Joe had the best NFL career of any Wisconsin alumnus. J.J. Watt may ultimately match it if he can stay healthy, Troy Vincent had a fine run, and Russell Wilson is pretty good (though only a one-year Badger).
fun fact: many high school students are 18 year old, legally voting citizens.
crippling social anxiety doesn’t help either, but that’s a minor relief.
can you tell literally everyone at the three gyms i’ve joined and quit from taunting that I’m welcome there? I’m tearing up just writing this. While you personally might want to help, how do we know which one is you?
seems that every gym has them. and they always find me. gyms are just for fit people from my experience. maybe others get lucky.
Burn. It. All. Down.
Rockwell not winning for portraying Chuck Barris is the greatest crime perpetrated against mankind.
I’ve said it before on here, and I’ll keep repeating it. Trump will side with whomever can get him a “win” that he can “put his name on”. If the GOP won’t do it, and the Democrats can, he has no loyalty except to his own personal brand. He’ll throw Ryan and McConnell under the wheels of the Trump Shuttle to get the…
Here’s my insane-but-maybe-not Trump theory: if the Democrats win the House and Senate, Trump will immediately ditch the “loser GOP”, fire Mike Pence, and become a Democrat. Trump has no ideology, he just wants to win and put his name on stuff. If Chuck and Nancy give him a better chance to do it than Paul and Mitch,…
See and raise. This band is hot as shit.
LBJ had him killed because he was jealous of “the decade”
that’s legit. the greater point is that not drinking at all is better than drinking shitty fake beer.
