As a smart-ass, that is something I would say ironically at a party. That is why I don’t have a Twitter account.

When I first saw those about a year ago I was smitten. I hope they pull it off. I would be seriously interested - scratch my EV and Morgan itches all at once.
People all over the country (outside of NY, CA, and major cities) are going into stores without masks all the time because they have decided to ignore something that has a very small chance of affecting them personally. Another large slice of the population has decided Covid is the second coming of the bubonic plague…
My 1990 Miata is my street car, a ‘95 Ranger couldn’t tow my antique car (and it’s a Ford), and a seriously, a mini-van? My soul remains uncrushed.
Actually I have 9 cars, clearly more than I need. Saying something is “more than you need” does not imply a moral judgement. It’s just an observation.
Yes that’s why I race a ‘92 Miata, tow with a 2003 Tundra, and transport passengers in a 2009 G37. They are all very clean and well kept. I can afford something better, but why?
My point is that you don’t need a $60,000 truck to haul around an 800lb payload. Yes, if I could call Ford for a free loaner I would do the same thing. If I’m anyone else, a used Tundra would do the job just fine.
Good call. I was thinking real-life Butthead. Maybe if you make a shit-ton of cash while young it stunts your maturity. I generally like Elon’s never-accept-limits attitude but his self absorption and vindictiveness is second only to our dear leader.
Just wanted to point out that parking downhill raises the angle of the ramps, as you proved in the next photo where you pulled the truck up a hill. I also wanted to point out you could have accomplished the same thing with a 15 year old Tundra.
If it is mechanically sound, that is a great deal on a car that will go fast enough to use, is comfortable, well-engineered, and made of quality parts. While not flashy, it’s a better deal than a common Model A or Model T because it is more usable, rare, original, and will hold value better.
I can’t even get parts for my 1964 Corvair at the Chevy dealership. Most of them have never even heard of a Corvair. I think there was a corporate-wide memory purge at GM around 1980.
Oh, and did I mention patience and a sense of humor? You’ll need that too but I think your are imminently qualified. I hear there’s a 1924 Cadillac for sale.
Plymouth was Chrysler’s last and failed attempt to go green.
But it’s a combination of 69, heh-heh, and 420, you know like joints and stuff! Hilarious.
While one could make the argument for that thing as a sedan, many definitions require an upright greenhouse and not a highly sloping roof. Since you are so good with counter-examples, perhaps you could enlighten us to your definition of a sedan?
Did I mention that it has a trunk and not a bed?
I own a 1917 Stephens touring car. It can go 37mph tops and the brakes are horrible so you have to think and look ahead. It really teaches you to be a better driver. For tooling around the neighborhood, going out to dinner, old car tours, the occasional parade or car show, it is a lot of fun. And you are always a one…
It has a column between the doors, an upright greenhouse, and a solid roof. It also has 4 independent doors (not that is actually a sedan requirement). This could be the dictionary picture under the definition of sedan.
I need some SFI-rated baklava.
