I still daily my ‘90 Miata. It’s been tracked, road-tripped, lumber-hauling, trailer-towing, off-roading, swamp-bogging, and generally happily abused for 200,000 miles. For me, it is always the answer.
I had an ‘84 Dodge Dayton Turbo (no Z). 2.2 non-intercooled turbo engine. Understeer, turbo lag, and torque steer out the wazzoo. Comfy velour seats that would zap you from 6 feet away. Worst car I ever owned. Dumped it in 1990 and bought a Miata. Best car I ever owned.
I’m a little disappointed we didn’t see GoPro video from all angles. I wanted to see cones flying and hear those wheelbarrow tires screaming.
