I don’t know, I’d pick the Eta engine over its contemporary M10 any day. The M20B27 is a wonderful 300k mile workhorse with a beautiful torque curve from the bottom to a top that it reaches about 2000 rpm early.

Yeah! The T-Body was everywhere. Great info too. The US just didn’t get good versions of any car in the 1970s. Better off that the Isuzu brand wasn’t tainted by the “Buick Opel”.

It always make me smile when I see one fly by in the vintage rally videos. It also makes me sad because I used a own a ‘76 coupe.

Not that it really matters, but the “Buick Opels” offered stateside in the mid-1970s were actually abysmal Isuzu Geminis.
