Shelter Cat Update!

I survived my second week at my new job. And appraisal came back on the house I am buying just above my offer.

Be prepared!  That kitty is gonna need a LOT of attention and interaction. 

Holy smokies y’all, we’re moving to Panama this week, if, IF, everything falls into place. Cat passports, negative Covid antigen tests, narrow time windows for all the ridic red tape, though isn’t all red tape, by its nature, ridiculous? Also, there appears to be a calico elephant on the catsle!

I have been on adventures for the past month, and want to share. First, I finished over 20 hours of training for the volunteer program i joined here in Asheville http://www.tipofwnc.org/. I’ve had two shifts so far!

Whuddup jezzies. In an unbelievably stressful week (home life, work life, the sustained hellscape of our politics) I had one HUGE bright spot. A few weeks back, I posted about possibly finding the sister that my mom had given up for adoption 8 years before I was born. I found her on ancestry.com.

That’s interesting, but I don’t know if I would want to eat it. The texture of gelatin can be a little... off putting.

Now, to be fair, Space Mountain The Ride does have one major advantage over Pirates, Jungle Cruise, and, to a lesser extent, the Mansion: It doesn’t totally suck.

Fuck you.

Pirates and the Haunted Mansion may be a little silly, but to say that these classic rides aren’t “good” is straight up clickbait.

Solid movie, and eminently watchable, the kind of film you can just fall into by accident if you catch it somehow. Those montage scenes are excellent (didn’t know that tickle scene was a rehearsal shot, that enthusiastic, unselfconscious personality is part of the charm of both actors) the heightened music, the sort…

It’s fine if you get it for free. But it also depends on what kind of game you appreciate. If you’re looking for an RPG-esque experience, well... Kotaku’s great at many things but they clearly have nobody who has much knowledge there - they kept badgering everyone about how The Outer Worlds reinvented the RPG, a game…

Obviously not all Canadians are nice, otherwise they wouldn’t need prisons. However, I do think that the standard for civility is set a little higher north of the border than it is here in the Lower 48.

Yeah, I just searched his Twitter and apparently he actually is a Biggie fan which cracks me up. Your point is well taken - it’s like when Paul Ryan said he loves Rage Against the Machine.

Shift through a bunch of records? Do they not have an online portal to look at his medical records, like a regular person? 

I like the cast a lot. I don’t think the games make for good movies but I’m excited to see if they can achieve something better than mediocre.
