I absolutely love Archer, but the last two seasons were by far the weakest. I’m glad they have one last season to wrap things up and go out on a high note.

It's weird that they decided to go with Christian Bale as Ace Ventura.
SSoooo it's obviously going to be their daughters that actually do the thing, right? Still stupidly excited for this.
I'm guessing this is a one-off and another Louis and Build-a-Figure Zuul will be in Series 2.
Eh, the Diamond Selects looked nice in the package but fell apart and were impossible to display so I bought one and stopped. This new series displays great.
My child has an IEP (ADHD and anxiety) that had just been put into place a couple of months before lockdown. It was hard as hell trying to keep up with the virtual learning. We’re in this weird position now where we’re dreading sending them back to school in a few weeks due to both the ongoing pandemic and the changes…
You’re absolutely right on that. It could still be his being-an-asshole-thing coming out unplanned during his campaign-rally-stunt-thing. I just can't believe anyone would take this bullshit seriously except to make a few bucks.
Thanks for the Cinnamon Hadley link. In all my years as a Sandman fan, I don’t remember hearing of her (though I’d read the waitress story before). It’s a shame it was after she’d passed.
If I remember correctly, Death and Delirium split duties on being based on Tori. In my mind, Desire spoke in an almost Kathleen Turneresque husk. You know, that’s a tough one to cast. I would almost go with casting both a man and woman, both androgynous, with the image fading between them.
So maybe I’m just suspicious and jaded these days, but how sure are we that this wasn’t a publicity stunt to up interest for the new album from the jumpoff? Worrying behavior included?
Possible! I could be taking the small sound bite out of context. I remember the JGL story, and thinking he would be a solid choice. So who do we think would make an interesting gender flip in the pantheon?
True, but a point was always made that Desire appeared as different - or in between - genders depending on who was seeing them while the other Endless seemed to have definite presented genders. I can’t imagine Destruction being anything but a man and Despair being anything but a woman, for instance, but I’m down for…
So Gaiman seems to be aggressively hinting at a gender flip for Dream, which I’m usually super interested in. But Dream is such a capital-M Male in his attitudes and mannerisms that this would be a weird one. Have we heard anything about casting yet or am I way behind?
They are, but it works. Lin plays Hamilton as completely awkward but inspiring, and Phillipa’s Eliza stays in the shadows until she steps out for the finale. Plus, Lin having a somewhat weaker voice means I can actually match him note for note when singing along, so...
Yeah, I always heard the same.
It does make me a little sad to watch these days with Brittany Murphy's death and Stacey Dash's fall to the Dark Side.
You’re a little behind on the Uncharted news. Sony released a follow-up statement yesterday saying they haven’t started production, but they hope to soon.
I love Tim and am always happy to see him turn up. Fine actor, fine human. I'm glad to hear his recovery is still coming along.
I was thinking the exact same thing! Universal has been open for a month and has somehow escaped the general wrath.
Sally?
