I was thinking the exact same thing! Universal has been open for a month and has somehow escaped the general wrath.

Sally?

I WANT TO BELIEVE

What’s the over/under on Fantastic Beasts 3 never seeing the light of day given both Depp’s and Rowling’s (rightly earned) public perceptions?

I absolutely hated Being John Malkovich, thought Adaptation was okay and really liked Eternal Sunshine. I'll be skipping this since it definitely leans into Kaufman's obnoxious pretentiousness.

Do you really think they'd tell us if he did?

Damn. That’s terrible. I was really hoping he would make it. I’m a big fan of Waitress, and he and his wife struck me as genuinely good people. My heart goes out to Amanda and Elvis. (And he was my age too. Terrifying.)

Keep in mind, he absolutely lost the popular vote in 2016. It just didn't matter.

That thread was fascinating, disgusting, rage inducing and empowering all at once. Thank you for posting.

The incomplete one? "That was my wife you decided to-" "Fuuuuuuuuu-"

AND I’M NEVER GONNA STOP UNTIL I MAKE EM DROP BURN EM UP AND SCATTER THE REMAINS

This movie was muddled as hell. Into the Spider-verse was leaps and bounds better in both style and substance. Look no further than Miles Morales to see what being a hero means.

Did anyone see the WAHAM episode of Shrill? This is that. If not, go watch Shrill immediately.

UUGGGH. Can I have like one thing to look forward to this year that I don't get yanked around by? I guess this guarantees that I'll pick up the PS5 version, if a separate one exists.

I'm not sure if it's cancelled for 2021 or will just be held in a different location. It moves from state to state and sometimes to the UK annually. I hope it comes back to Chicago or elsewhere accessible to the Midwest sometime soon.

It does look oddly photoshopped though, like the text isn’t physically on the page...?

Biff was at least a little funny.

Because it doesn't matter if we believe they're about to die, it matters that they believe it. Still an affecting scene after watching it a half dozen times.

This will be a massively important social experiment if they go through with it. And if it works, I pray it spreads like wildfire. This is one of the biggest civil rights movements in history, and I feel like real change may be coming. I hope.

Right? I work at a public library and we’re getting daily complaints — some heated — that the building isn’t open and we’re only doing contactless curbside pickups. Suck it up, people.
