eh, this is a fringe theory historically. Pretty much everyone accepts that Josephus mentioned Jesus... arguing for the Jesus Myth theory is enough to lose actual academics jobs.

“Bernie voted to impeach”
I mean okay
I don't understand why McDonalds doesn't just bring the sauce back so everyone can realize it's kinda shitty and the meme can die.
Fake name, undisclosed information that might help (like a birthdate). The people who have his information (like government agencies or financial institutions) are obliged not to give it out, and only the tiniest sliver of the population is even interested.
you could say the same for a lot of outsider art (excepting the criminal part)… was Wesley Willis really aware of why people liked Rock N Roll McDonalds?
I mean, Wiseau himself is a grotesque caricature of a celebrity whose "career" is being propped up by alt-comics because they think it's funny, but everyone who watches the film knows he isn't in on the joke.
The Room is well worth seeing, particularly at a midnight showing if possible.
I still think that initial website for Neighbors was the most batshit insane thing Wiseau will ever do.
I mean apparently nobody ever thought to throw a spear at a dragon in the past so…
This is something that bothered me in college, professors would always turn to the one African-American person in the class for perspective on some social issue when in reality that one person was just as likely to have been from a rich suburb with two professionals for parents as anyone else in the class.
I mean especially films like this that spend a good portion of their running time just outright making fun of people who dare not to live in New York City.
I think I can spend the rest of my life without seeing another series of scenes about overeducated New Yorkers having to talk to their idiot relatives who are idiots because they never took a gender studies class… I can't help but get offended when people like Lena Dunham and Jessica Williams, from New York and Los…
of course I agree with you, but the show no longer cares. He hates Sam, so he is bad and he has to fight with the baddos against our lovable crew of primary characters.
I mean, sure. But again it's a little too convenient for the Starks (who always have to have a Stark in Winterfell) to have no close or distant male line relations. I mean, even Downton Abbey managed that.
Except that in the books (and maybe show?) the heirs to Winterfell were some minor lords in the Vale who descend from a distant cousin of Ned's.
GRRM built his entire premise on the idea of widescale dynastic collapse… if you look at a family tree, almost every great house has something like one son in each generation for the past 300 years. Only the Lannisters and Arryns are shown to have large families with cadet branches.
well he was established as a bad guy and the show has little use for anything other than black and white at this point… the nature of feudal loyalty long stopped being interested to D&D
making your way in Westeros takes everything you got
getting away from all your worries sure would help a lot
wouldn't you like to get away?
sometimes you want to go… where everybody knows your name
and they're always glad you came
you want to be where you can see our troubles are all the same
you want to be where everybody…
