What’s missing in all this Prius coverage is when can a person actually buy one? It’s already 2023. When do they ship?

So I guess the guy in the intro to No Scrubs whispering about his “stretch Viper” could *theoretically* have been telling the truth.

RAV4 Prime is a dream car, possibly the only thing I’d get rid of my Volt for.

Totally agree, I don’t understand this obsession to go full electric when not everybody is ready. Plug in hybrids still make sense.

The Chevy Volt, or at very least the Voltec powertrain that could have been dropped into another car (small crossover?) It just works so well.

Kia decided Toyota couldn’t have a lock on hideous hybrids I guess?

My friend bought one about a year ago and now it’s in the shop with a blown turbo he’ll have to pay for. Less than 50k miles.

Probably easier to sell the one that’s not ugly, too. Unless you’re into the urinal in the grille aesthetic.

Um, my 1993 Plymouth Sundance had this. It’s not new. One of the jets was misaligned and sprayed right out the side of the car. It was great for spraying people in the school parking lot.

The most problematic parts of mine were the Ultradrive transmission and the 3.0 mitsu v6. Your 88 or 91 wouldn’t have been blursed with either of those.

My ‘93 was not the most reliable but I loved it anyway.

Shadow/Sundance. My aunt (like my 2nd mom) had an ‘89 RS Turbo and it was the coolest thing my little eyes had seen. It was fast, the interior was so cool - camel color with red stripes on the seats, little red leather insets in the steering wheel. I liked it so much my first car ended up being a ‘93 version in the

I’ve learned over the last 2.5 years that many people who are sick, even those that know it, don’t give a flying fuck about anybody else.

Damn, I wish I had a couple of those laying around in my garage to turn in for $500 a pop

Oh good, considering it works correctly maybe 60% of the time in my Volt, this is just what I need! I look forward to shutting off the car and opening the driver’s door so I can take the heat off roast.

It’s neat, but isn’t the 3.4 dual cam that perfectly terrible blend of unreliable and extremely hard to work on? You really don’t see many on the road.

Right, do they take back hair? It’s about all I grow anymore.

It’s like my mom when she’d take me clothes shopping as a kid. “Just try it on!” “But it’s ugly and I don’t like it.” “Oh just try it on, I want to see it on you!”

$76k for a car you can’t get tail lights for.
