Yes — it’s called wiretapping. Whether you live in a one-party consent state or a two-party consent state doesn’t matter as he is recording the audio conversation of two persons without consent of either. They may argue there is an expectation of privacy in a car, but that doesn’t work when it’s not their car.

I once had Hurley Haywood tell me my feet were too big (size 13) to heel toe. He was sitting passenger and I just wasn’t doing it like he wanted. In my miata, I put ball of foot on brake and roll foot onto gas to blip.

I can attest to this. I recently (December) picked up an ‘06 LX. I would have preferred the LC, but there are more LXes out there for same or better price.

I-70 through Kansas is boring (I’ve done it a few times), but it doesn’t have anything on I-80 through Wyoming and Nebraska. Good luck on your trip! I’m debating on heading out to Moab next weekend from SLC.

Vegas or SLC are my favorites: lots of ways to get around the city, good wide roads, people that drive fast paced. I’ve driven in most major cities in the U.S (NY/CHICAGO/PHILLY/HOUSTON/LA/SEATTLE/DC/SAN DIEGO/DENVER/ETC) and a few large international cities (LONDON/MANCHESTER/DUBLIN/VANCOUVER/CALGARY/CORDOBA/etc).

Salt Lake is a great city to drive in. The grid system, wide roads, not too much congestion and during the winter there is really only 4-8 days a year when the snow sticks on the valley roads.
