If I had to guess, I’d go with at least five years out. You can get an LG 8K set now, but again, it’s $15k and there’s absolutely no native content for it. They just started releasing 4k HDR Blu-Rays, which are pretty fantastic, and 8K content is going to be fucking huge. I don’t know if there’s storage format yet…
