First: My 2013 Ford Fusion hybrid has been like that - well...since 2013. (Actually, technically, it’s been like that since earlier than that, since it normally takes a couple of years for a vehicle programme to be developed and engineered, but that’s besides the point).
Car and Driver has said that the start-stop system in the 2013 Fusion would have been (presumably) better than this.
