Great interview. I also used to be in crash safety simulations engineering at a Tier 1 and Volvo is long regarded by many in the industry as the leader in vehicle safety. (They spend a lot researching this area.)

But if this is a question about what’s the worst thing that you can do in a rental — I mean...I would have to measure how much clutch slip there is between starting from first and then executing a 1-2 upshift vs. just starting in second from a dead halt.
