Yeah, most cars probably CAN start from third. When I had my buddy’s 2013 Fusion manual, I would regularly start from second because in most “normal” driving, I’m not gunning for a 0.8 g acceleration off the line anyways. I would be surprised if I even hit 0.3 g acceleration.
