The ideas preexisted the podcast. All of them. Check out Extra Credits episodes on Freemium models and monetization, which are a year or two old now. And though they're the first place I heard these ideas, the ideas were not original to them.

Jeez guys, you can like the show without making giant stretches to justify its plot holes. There is no evidence for either of these theories. I expect shortly there will be some reason for Thea to fight someone, and she will still kick ass.
In actual martial arts, teachers don't beat the crap out of their students, especially teachers that plan to "take it easy on students"
I think there's more evidence that Malcolm would never do such a thing. I'm not sure someone who's training method is "just let her win" would decide he needs to beat the crap out of his student to train her properly so he can, what? more properly fake losing?
As a superhero soap opera, there are often absurd and ridiculous things that I just ignore for the sake of pleasant entertainment. An aspect that could have been ridiculous but has been handled well through flashbacks would be the fighting skills acquired by Oliver and Sara. But the show has revealed they had strong…
I'll hold out until I can have Samuel Jackson calling me a motherfucker whenever I go off the route.
To be fair, when they do crossovers in comics, it's a cheap sales grab, so correctly identifying a crossover in the show as a "cheap ratings grab" is also being faithful to the comics.
Everyone calls him Sully.
I plan to refer to my ass as a double jug frequently in the future.
It's as if the writers looked at Coven and decided the only thing wrong with it was that Stevie Nicks didn't sing in every episode.
They always try to fit too much into this show. Why just have a fucked up asylum when you can have an asylum with a Nazi doctor, a serial killer, a demon, aliens, and wannabe Morlocks.
Screen name comment synergy
I didn't know this show existed until they were airing repeats on TNT. After seeing several episodes from several seasons, I sat down and watched them all, slowly but surely. Good stuff.
South Park was fun, but get it on the cheap or rent it from Red Box. You'll finish it in a couple of sessions — it's not worth full price.
Okay so not exactly mainstream, but the jam band The Disco Biscuits deserves a mention given their name is old slang for ludes.
I wish Gotham would embrace a Batman-less universe and stop bothering to have Bruce Wayne character development.
Few Daniels have annoyed me. That one from Lost . . . but all my memories of Lost are tainted. I also don't appreciate anyone singing Danny Boy or Tubthumping at me.
I have a bottle of that stuff. It really is terrible. I've had shots, and on a whim, I mixed it into an iced coffee. No good.
You're not the only one.
I like this one. But it makes me want to get high.
