So wait... Carmack works for them and when they won't let him work on VR stuff anymore, he leaves... and now they bitch about him working on VR stuff. Sounds legit.

The reliability really is a stickler though. If it's like you say, I would at all times need two phones because I need to be reachable at pretty much any moment anywhere. Of course, you could carry the free package and use it if it's working to save costs on the other plan, and if you use a really cheap phone to de

If I was in your situation I would be running cables throughout the house. Any particular reason that's not an option?

That's hilariously sad. And it's not even a legitimate problem like not having enough money up front to buy something you need right away, at a better quality that will last longer and actually save money over time.

That's what they said about high elves in TERA. Until they met Butterface.

Maybe multiplayer game and split up?

I only just got the game and played through it on Hard/Expert for the most part, starting with a Barbarian. Only after I got to level 70 and joined some friends on Torment 1 did I really have to start rebuilding the character from scratch. Now I have a pretty good balance between damage and survivability focussing

I think it's important to note the distinction between "game engine" and "rendering engine". This really is just a rendering engine tech demo. A "next-gen" game engine would consist of a bunch of new tools that allows developers to do all sorts of things harder, better, faster, stronger.

The game we pushed to the amazon market for this actually works like that. If you've bought it on the amazon store before, it's the same app and so you'll already own it.

I actually only just started playing D3 when they released RoS, and got the expansion after getting to 60.

I've come to realize that I am unable to decide if people with big smiles have attractive faces or not, and by extension I actually think big smiles are really, really ugly.

The high cholesterol due to eating cholesterol is a debunked myth afaik. Does the process of making the tea egg add more saturated fat to the mix rather than a regular boiled egg?

I don't see anything there that implies irresponsibility. Perhaps you're misinterpreting the "not" in the last sentence to be connected to "responsible" (which it isn't). Although, I agree the grammar of it is... unfortunate.

Nah, I generally just don't talk to anybody. But yeh, you're totally right.

I guess for some programming it counts, but I was recently rewriting the core code of a 2D platformer for the third time in a row, and we're doing some completely counter-intuitive things physics-wise which just end up being perfect. No robot would try that.

Can relate to the first case, and the advice is solid. I recently had a fling for the first time in... what... 7 years? Didn't last too long, but I did realize I couldn't really have a relationship if I hate myself. I can love the other, but I won't let them love me back.

That second option seems weird to me. I mean, going after people you find unattractive kind of defeats the purpose of the exercise, at least when it's about hooking up with someone. If it's about friends, then sure I can get that, but I've never really had a desire to be around other people. Maybe I'm just weird :P

That's the easy part. The hard part is figuring out why everybody had Palmer on the us side of the "us vs. them" that's going around with Facebook these days, and if that "us vs. them" is even a thing statistically, or if it's a vocal minority among backers. They should do a poll and see how many backers are really

Because he couldn't sell it back when he didn't have the community he has today. Now he can.

You can see it most clearly around 0:44. Right next to the pillar on the left side, there are bright sections in the perturbations on the water surface, which are likely pixels of the rendered pillar in the foreground. The compression doesn't help, obviously
