I feel like this with most games as soon as they reach the start of their Act 2. The first part is build up, then once you've gotten the gist of the gameplay and start seeing the repetition, you can pretty much see to the horizon (Act 3) If I don't like that view particularly much, I stop playing right away. This is

I haven't started using twitter at all so far, but I'm sort of dreading the time when I might start doing so. Personally I just really don't like the idea that I'm always connected to the outside world, or to other people.

The last few seconds just made me laugh. The muchi puri mage with her tits hanging out just sort of ruined the whole atmosphere for me, lol.

I hope they're at least going to hand over what they had from 1313 to a capable studio that will invest the time to make it work (not just a capable studio that won't give it the time of day) Was looking forward to it.

That and the barrier they're currently hitting (can't make the transistors any smaller, and parallelism is bottlenecking) with CPU's is stopping them from getting much faster. Mobile phones will catch up to that problem soon enough, at which time progress will slow down, unless they can finish those graphene

It's cool to hate, woooo woo wooo! I don't like nothing and I like that fine :)

This actually looks pretty cool. The fact they are also shipping the editor is a nice touch. I'm happy to see them return to their strengths, since Ego Draconis just felt really mediocre in a lot of departments (mechanics, animation, etc)

How is this anything but an awkward rephrasing of something very similar to the Arcade model?

I wonder how accidental these images being left there really is though. These seem far too deliberate to be accidental leaks.

Had a funny bug with the UI's the first time I used a camp fire. None of the previous UI's would fade back out, so after a few clicks I had a whole bunch of UI windows and text overlapping each other, some back-to-front cause the camera had spun around halfway through.

This is the second best idea that we've ever had!

Could be longer though. If it's like an MMO, then the actual server code is not available and can't be easily obtained, so you either write your own server that attempts to reproduce results from the original, which you can only obtain through trial-and-error, or you try to hack their servers and steal the code.

lol, nice comparison to the VHS.

I thought that was going to be a streaming solution (as opposed to downloading), using the GaiKai service they purchased. Maybe they're not sure about the infrastructure yet, who knows.

No need to be sorry.

I totally agree that this is in the best interest of future development and games, even though it "hurts" people (they just have to keep their old Ps3 and maybe spend some time unhooking/reconnecting the PS4/PS3)

I did some digging, and it appears this was actually a rumor about the next xbox, and not the PS4. The question why you would require game installs is an interesting matter altogether though. Of course, with a far more impressive memory spectrum, simply streaming assets from disc is going to be less optimal as game

"I don't understand why they don't just make the PS4 backwards compatible with the PS3."

Yeh, I wasn't implying I have a very addictive personality. One of the deficiencies I was talking about was about not being able to deal with change in a routine context without feeling severely apprehensive, which addictive games like MMO's play well with, or generally feeling constant anxiety in any social

I'm a recluse myself as well, and I partake in gaming binges all the time. I do have a serious love-hate relationship with it though, which is why I might view things differently. This is indeed a matter of perception.
