Indeed it is. I know of another alternative that is a little harder to set up, which is beer-shot battleships. That's a lot of fun too.

I'm 25, soon to be 26. I'm really good at not knowing things everybody knows, and just as good at knowing/remembering things nobody else does. I can baffle my peers endlessly with my completely oblivious nature to popular culture, for instance.

I honestly did not know this game (Beer Pong) existed. I'd heard the name, but never actually ventured to figure out what it meant. Will have to try this sometime...

Even though they're missing out on E3, they're getting a lot of PR from not going. Nice thing to do on their part, and not a total loss by any means.

Ran into a guy with an aimbot last week. We were raping the other team in Metro Rush, suddenly this guy comes in and kills like 60 people in a minute, and continues non stop from impossible positions.

Portals would be a great addition if used responsibly. Just make sure you don't open a portal into space or something. The portal drinks are a hilarious idea. Note that if they were actually portals, you could never drink either of them.

I have no doubt that they did it for exactly that reason, and that he is invincible. It's just the implications of that in a multiplayer environment are... well... there's a reason nobody does that.

Funniest part about this is that they use slow-mo to emphasise movements, but it's a multiplayer game so everybody else just moves quickly. You see ninjas floating in the sky for a few seconds, or during your own slowmy kill, you see people running around slashing regularly.

LOD wouldn't reduce the amount of draw calls tough, it would only reduce the amount of data to be processed during a draw call (vertex count, pixel count, etc.) I'm assuming they already use mipmapping and most likely also have several levels of LOD on models, that even though not dynamic, do reduce polycount over

I thought I'd go with a more abstract interpretation.

I love how it's not even a pre-written response about the subject matter, but just a completely general one that probably applies to a large enough amount of the queries they get to warrant just sending it as is to everything they receive.

Now playing

The video/image replies are the best part of this article. 1:10 is hilarious.

I think you can actively make a choice not to buy the product to boycott it yes, but there is no blame there, just an opportunity to speak out. Also, the only option you have as a consumer is "yes/no", whereas a company has the choice to manufacture elsewhere.

Neither. I think the blame is first and foremost with a company (like the Foxconn factory) that would purport to be able to offer such a low price without creating these kinds of circumstances.

I think because Ericsson's phone partnership with Sony was only a part of its business, and it stepped out of that business. Sony, staying in the business of producing these phones, kept the logo.

And..... that's why you don't sell gameplay boosters for cash. You either end up pissing everybody off when you nerf/remove them, or you get a horribly unbalanced game in which eventually only paying customers can make any difference.

Seriously, that shit is so 2001.

Wauw... that's... pretty airtight. I can see why this would work then.

How do they check your age? People can just lie about their age in their XBox Live or PSN profile, can't they?
