I think it was mostly because Sony didn't say shit for at least a week or two, and then said it wasn't much of an issue, and then it got worse and worse and ... well... yeh. Way to be up front guys :P

I dislike the "pretty" boy/girl thing for one simple reason: It's repetitively mundane.

Yeh, thought they do warn (rightly so) that you should overshoot your desired Bandwidth by a considerable amount to make sure you don't get any lag. If you have a 20MBit internet connection, it's a good idea to at least get a 100MBit powerline set. We have 40MBit at home, so we're using a 200MBit set.

Are any power-line network things available for you? You know, where you plug your router into a power socket, and plug another one in a power socket near your device on the other side of the house.

Yeh, I noticed that too when I went to check it out. Funny how I never noticed that before xD

Oh god, P.O.D. Completely forgot about that one xD Time to go check them all out again.

Fond memories of SCARS and Rollcage. I played those on the PC I think, at least where Rollcage is concerned. I remember going to a friend's house and playing Rollcage 2 on his 22" CRT at 1600x1200. This was in the time of the Geforce 2 cards, so that was quite awesome.

Last sentence of first paragraph is a bit of a mess, imo.

Exactly. Increase resolution, retain screen size. Brilliance ensues.

As far as resolution goes, it would be nice to move into higher DPI screens. I watched a 4k progressive screen once, which basically runs on 4 video cards. Looks amazing.

Yeh, the system is pretty interesting. The belief is about as grounded as the Y2K syndrome, I guess.

Yeh, seems it ushers in some kind of movement of the sun as it aligns with the rest of the milky way. That coupled with interpretations about animal depictions of the milky way, and some translation, and you get this.

I've always wondered why the Mayan calender ending at 2012 implies anything. For all we know, some guy made a calender and said: "Well, that's long enough, isn't it?"

I'm flattered, but no need xD

For a moment there I was thinking "Many thanks to H5N1 for today's TAYpic!"

It's funny how the opposite of the first advice is also quite valid.

WTFBBQ!

I concede on putting them all as "PC" Games. You're right it should't matter, but I'd also put them in separate catagories (that's the fair bit) where deemed necessary. Let's wait and see what kind of games make the pc exclusive list.

That's actually kind of interesting. Best Port By Another Developer.

Yes I guess you could get some MMO's and indie games in there. But to be fair you'd probably want them in separate categories... Like Best MMO and Best Indie Game. But sure, I guess all of those count.
