Managing the mid-east is not America’s, or Obamas problem. Anything we do, long term, makes the situation worse. Let the mid-east deal with it’s own problems for a change.

The root issue is that anything you do in the mid-east is going to upset the balance of power. The question becomes, what replaces ISIS once it’s gone?

As a fellow software engineer, I agree 100% with you. Humans know they can run over an empty plastic trashbag that blows on the highway, a computer program does not. And that’s my major concern going forward.
