The difference is the ability to survive damage. You can fly an A-10 low when guys are shooting RPGs at you and expect to survive. An AH-64...not so much. And given the wars we are fighting happen to be where EVERYONE has access to RPGs...you get the idea.

As a guy who works on the B1, let me speak up a bit here:

Like the Game cube and Wii, the WiiU is powered by a modified PowerPC 750. An old architecture. From 1997. So as far as emulation goes, a lot of the CPU emulation code already exists via Dolphin.

No crossing gate? Lights by themselves would be too easy to miss. Coming from somewhere where we are required by law to have gates at every crossing, I wouldn’t be looking for (or at) crossing lights.

People who left foot brake should have their licenses revoked.

Same.

Fun fact: Both sides did everything they could to get the Ottoman Empire on their side during WWI, as they believed they could single-handedly tip the balance of power. It was the Ottomans joining Germany that convinced their leadership it was safe to continue attacks on ships in the Atlantic, as they believed the war

To be fair, the Buran was a better shuttle design. And even the Russians understood the economics of it.

The B-1b is our heaviest bomber, and the one with the highest ready rate (~70%, compared with about 50% for the B-52’s). It’s our best CAS option, after the A-10, of course.

Everyone already is unhappy about that change. I fully expect it to get reverted in short order.

Think bigger: She can phase INSIDE someone, then de=phase. No more someone. Who could stop her?

In my experience, Triple Tap is newbie trap.

Not totally related, except to show the mindset and insanity of truthers:

^^ Pretty much this.

My stance is simple: We continue to back ruthless dictators to satisfy short term geopolitical goals, at the expense of a very poor populace. And who are the only people saying they can lead the people to a better life? The terrorists. The more we get involved, the worse we appear, and the more terrorists appear. Even

You actually couldn’t. The Empire chose the TIE over the X-Wing for one reason alone: Cost. This of course led to the entire Incom Corp. design team defecting to the Rebels.

The A-Wing design actually predated the TIE-Interceptor series. They were active as early as the Battle of Yavin.

I had a similar experience a few years back; trucked dropped a metal wheelbarrow onto a highway; due to traffic, had to eat it.

Totally not a Zaku.

Gah, someone beat me to it.
