It was Nintendo's plan all along to find the equilibrium of supply and demand. There will be just enough units for just enough customers. :P

I agree. The HardOCP reviews provide a chart showing all the peaks and valleys.

I've owned nearly all North American released consoles since the NES and I have only ever had 2 dead Playstations and 2 Xbox 360s. I guess it's just a matter of the law of averages catching up to me or something.

I chose to cancel know that it will download in the background while I created my Mii. I tried both Nintendoland and Black Ops 2 but both say invalid disc. I am certain I put them in correctly, label side up when the system was horizontal.

I would be playing Black Ops 2 Wii U if the damn system didn't come defective out of the box. First, it didn't read discs and after an hour trying to get it to work, I get no picture and no gamepad connection even though I turned the system on WITH the gamepad.

My guess as they why Wii Mode is "walled off" is that there are exploits that can still run in Wii Mode and will not effect the Wii U part of the system.

Good to know. I haven't had time to even open mine yet so this will be awesome when I finally tear into Black Ops 2 while it's downloading.

Europe (or is it only the UK?) is getting a ZombiU bundle without Nintendoland.

Use this one.

Don't know about the French but horse sashimi is pretty good.

Exactly this.

Seeing that Scooter Braun (who manages Beiber, Usher and Carly Rae Jaspen) now manages PSY, we'll likely see him around for the North American market for a while.

It's no accident it's similar to LMFAO. PSY graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with top honors (also attended Boston University) so he knew exactly what he wanted out of Gangnam Style. Shrewd marketing on his part and now he's leveraging his fame to get more mileage outside of Korea (mostly in the US).

As others have pointed out, you can get 5.1 via HDMI. As for ethernet, I assume they'll have a USB to RJ-45 adapter just like the Wii (hell, probably the same one).

I unloaded all the so called "rare" ones back in 98/99 and quit as soon as Ty said all were going to be retired. Made good money back in the day dumping bears for $220+ each.

Soupy rice and miso soup, yes.

Neo Geo home joysticks and the thumbstick on the Neo Geo CD gamepad were clicky too.

Capcom specifically said that the main series is the action game for the CoD audience and the portable ones like Resident Evil: Revelations 3DS will be the survival horror games.

With the Wii U, Bayonetta 2 may be a chance to get noticed and sell better because there aren't going to be nearly as many games on the Wii U fighting for your gaming dollars. Sure, it can blow up in Nintendo's face but I'd rather they make the game than not.

Give me F-Zero X, Waverace and 1080. Hell, give me new ones too.
