In Canada, I remember paying $109.99 for Final Fantasy III and $200 for an imported SF2 (I really couldn't wait). Final Fantasy II was something like $80 or $90 when my aunt picked it up in the US for me. I built my SNES cart collection from used game sales at Blockbuster and other local video stores.

I envy you guys with time and money to collect Transformers. I have a friend with a lot of them from both North America and Japan. I think the last time I checked, his collection is over 1000.

I use VGA+3.5mm audio jack to pipe my wife's PC to the TV because no matter what I do, I can't scale the image properly with HDMI. Everything would look "crunchy" and off.

Ugh. Why couldn't Nintendo pick a more neutral colour for the Wii U cases? That blue doesn't work with most game covers, especially this Batman one.

Ooohhh... No wonder I never heard of the SMS version. I'm in North America and it was only released in Europe. I guess it's time for me to order some USB NES or SNES controllers as those are the best for old school games.

I did beat 2 and 3 but I was never as good in those ones because, well, I had more games then and didn't dedicate myself to those nearly as much as I did the first one. Also, I never even knew they made a Master System one. I'll have to find it to try out some time.

When I was young, except for Pro Wrestling, Ninja Gaiden was the only game I had. I got good enough to beat it on a single life as well. Tried playing it last month and boy do I suck now.

The PC version is supposedly prettier. No sure if that applies to the character models or just the city.

Try the Steelseries Merc with dedicated movement buttons. It will take a little of getting use to but it's harder to get lost. I don't game as much on PC but my wife does; She uses the Merc Stealth and absolutely loves it. Was using the Razer Naga but just side-graded to a Logitech G600.

While I understand the want for star power for the voices, were there other choices available? It seems that the Asian voice cast outside of Yunjin Kim and Will Yun Lee, the rest of them are the usual "go to" Asian actors in the North American entertainment industry. Surely there were lesser known Asian actors in…

I wouldn't know. While I own every iteration of the DS, my XL is still sealed in the box while I use the red Phat one that came with Mario Kart. With that said, my wife uses the Lite and I've been using the 3DS only for 3DS games.
