Whatever. Apple's the leader in the industry and everyone knows it. Followed by Android-OS devices. Everything else is just trash.

@Bradley Outlawpika Cheeseman: Oh yeah, they've re-released the original FF (among some of the other older ones) for systems like the portable Wonderswan (Japan only), PSX, PSP, and iPhone/iPad. It's everywhere. :)

@eiyaya: I shouldn't only be offered a trivial amount of story every 10 levels. It's just boring and uneventful. Triple the amount of main story quests per 10 levels.

@moarx: I'm talking about the actual lore behind the series, not the amount of content. Yes, FFXIV suffers from embarrassingly little content, but I personally can't stand the lore of WoW.

@oldman: It very much depends on what you're talking about. Graphics/lore/music? Absolutely! It already has. Gameplay mechanics/UI/UX? WoW crushes FFXIV in horrible, horrible defeat. God, it's 2010, not 1990. Hire some decent programmers, SE.

@Skunky: They make delightfully funny noises when you fight them, too. My in-game character is usually crying from sheer cuteness overload. :)

@eiyaya: Yeah I'll take a good story. Oh wait, the game has only, like, 3 main story quests before it just stops. Zero content. Fail.

@Yankton: Yeah I agree. It's a tricky thing to take a style that may be conceived as childish and keep it classy.

@Bradley Outlawpika Cheeseman: Well I think it's a remake in the sense that it borrows on some of the base, classical elements from the original Final Fantasy; however, it's a completely new game with a new story, gameplay mechanics, etc., so it's just not just a rehash with new graphics.

@Yankton: Well it wasn't about the technical capabilities that SE was able to take advantage of in the limited hardware, it was more of the kiddie-looking style (big heads, etc.). However, now that I look at it again, I really do enjoy it. :)

Looking forward to this! At first the art style kinda turned me off, but it's grown on me. :) Plus the music is really great!

@kraed: I mean, it's just arbitrary. You can put explosive components in any piece of equipment, so why just single out came consoles? Or video recorders that use VHS tapes? Am I not allowed to make a bomb out of a Nintendo DS is a digital video recorder? :P

@Cooking Utensil: Yeah when I first saw that happening with some Japanese people in an online game, I asked them why they did that. They said something like, "Just to be funny." So yeah, love learning about the differences in language for the younger Japanese generation. :)

@kraed: I just flew yesterday, and I noticed a funny sign that specifically listed four items that needed to be removed from packaging/bags for closer inspections, I guess? Full-sized DVD players, full-sized video game consoles, video cameras that use VHS tapes, and on other thing.
