@Brian Ashcraft: Ah gotcha. Yeah I suppose that makes sense, since hiragana is just the base for all writing; good point. (BTW, his calligraphy looks really good!)

@ChiltonGaines: Wealthy Gadabout: Yeah I mean, if someone was like, "What show are these character designs based off of?" I would guess "The Simpsons", but if someone was just like, "Look at these." I dunno that I'd immediately guess that.

Yay, a shitty-looking Wii game. Who needs stairs when you can walk up and down that aliased grass?

@Uhyve: LOL Point taken.

@DJKGinHD: Ah, that's true. I still have the gigaton PS3. And yeah, I do recall some roadtrips with my PS1, but still...just seems like such a super-slim market to target, but hey, why not?

Eh. I'm a Simpsons whore, so maybe I'm just particular, but the art style just doesn't convince me. I mean, if I just saw these pictures without context, I wouldn't have immediately thought "The Simpsons". ざんねんです。。。

@snowman6251: Aye. :) Hence the (semi)common Japanese word that Americans know: edamame = green soy bean.

@Black Knight Rebel: I've learned that Japanese people often will switch the roles of hiragana and katakana purely as a stylistic change. So yes, while Ashcraft certainly SHOULD be written in katakana, writing it in hiragana instead seems to give it a more personal feel.

Why are people trying to make a 7000 lb. video game console portable by attaching a screen to it? Are people wanting to plug their PS3 in their car and play it on the road? Seems kinda pointless...

@William Chandler: Yeah it's looking unlikely. :( "Oh...no..." *YOU ARE DEAD*

Has Leon been announced for this game yet? (I'm kinda behind on the MvC3 lineup.) I'd love to see some Leon v. Wesker action. :)

@Full_Circle: Oh I quite recall K-Mart as a kid. All the stores seemed dark and dirty, products strewn all about the aisles.

@MichaelPalin: Oh I agree. My point was mostly sarcastic, and at this point, I don't really view anything Microsoft creates as valuable in any way.

@Al Bundy: Only the gods (read: Kotaku staff) can save me now!

@MichaelPalin: Life and death is SLIGHTLY different than software development, pal.

@Maldron: No, it's cool. After I die, it'll inherit all my stuff and keep living its life, possibly adopting another human.

Oh my gosh, I WANT a Pomeranian. Especially one that can survive the destruction of Toyko!

@Al Bundy: D: I'm sorry! I-I just like to comment and say funny/stupid/awesome things.

@HereMarty: Interesting. I saw them disappear from Virginia several years ago... And in Boston, I've yet to see one.
