Thank you very much. :)
Thank you very much. :)
I am glad that we finally have a conclusive study to put to rest the talking points that Ess Jay Double-yews and Anita constantly make: that playing a video game will instantly turn someone into a Sexist Rapist Misogynist. They were silly points that I’m fairly certain she probably made at some point when I was…
But...but I took an extended lunch for this.... ;_;
The cost of making games continues to skyrocket as does the cost to market them. On the worker side, this translates to “totally not mandatory” 16+ hour days, sleeping under your desk, and not seeing family for months at a time.
It’s been a slow couple of weeks. :(
You are also my favorite Jezzie.
Is his Fatality picking up a game and injecting politics into it? Because nothing is more barbaric and fatal to a Hardcore Gamer than that.
The Ethical among you (should any even exist here at Kotaku) might remember that Steam recently required Ethical Disclosure Statements for all of their reviews people leave because they, like we in my movement, understand that collusion surrounds the Gaming World.
I don’t want to be percieved as not having a huge sausage or giant balls, and I also enjoy the imagery of sexy ladies, the naughty inuendos and references to Lara’s body. In fact, now that I think about it, a lot of these ads seem curiously targeting or calling into question the status of my Masculinity, as though…
Is their universe still just the inside of a video game, as was revealed in “Till the End of Time”? I stopped playing and caring about an hour after that revelation.
The optional tombs in the rebooted Tomb Raider are perfect examples of giving the player a room, all the environmental clues and mechanics they need, and tell them to figure it out. They were a little on the short/easy side in my opinion and should have scaled in complexity with progress in the game, but are still…
I haven’t played Life is Strange, since I feel it was made specifically to cater to Ess Jay Double-yews.
Did you steal my account? Either way, thank you for giving me the day off.
I fail to see the problem here. Mechanics always wear as little as possible when working around extremely hot engines and oil/liquid.
I’d let Balthier kidnap me.
