They just fucking won.

I’d most like to see the SNES Battletoads in Battlemaniacs. Hard as nails like the NES one and some level variations (it is basically a remake) but man it was fun and looked great. It was very beatable if you got good at it, most of the difficulty could be surmounted if you learned the levels.

Awesome. In the article you posted (from two years ago) they state that they have “changed their position” because the “system doesn’t work”. And, of course, once the heat dies down some and they gain some ground, the NICS system “doesn’t work” is next and that must go. That’s the fun part of evolving positions, you

They really went all in on Ryu, though. This isn’t just another character that plays by similar rules, his play style seems to really be modeled after the SF games. There are lots of options in how to play him.

So what kind of background checks does the NRA support? Citation needed, please. One within the past 10 years. Because they used to support them, back when they thought it would help them, now they all they have to do is push a button and a bunch of gun nuts scream about gun rights being taken away that actually

Yeah, it is - but the fact remains NRA pushes for gun ownership for everyone with no background checks. The problem is, without checks you cannot determine who the “bad guys” are until they have already done something like this. So when they use language like “bad guy with a gun” and “good guy with a gun” they

And as far as the NRA is concerned, he was a “good guy with a gun” right up until the second he put three in her back.

The car door analogy isn’t the best. I lock my car doors to keep people from stealing things inside it, not from stealing the entire car. Door locks will not stop a determined thief, if they can hotwire the car you can bet they can get a locked door open. In fact, when I had a convertible I specifically did not lock

I’m just waiting for the KickStarter that list as one of the high tier perks “Better chance of having your investment refunded if this goes belly up”.

ALL investment is “this bullshit” as you put it. The problem is people are WAY overestimating the success rate mainly due to wishful thinking. People that invest in businesses have always had the chance of making a bad bet and losing their money to a shady/naive business plan. The big difference is it opens the door

It’s not my fault GamerGate (sorry swedish online game store!) made a mockery of themselves with their MRA antics and their completely transparent bullshit claims about “ethics in game journalism”. If you don’t like being mocked, then don’t associate yourself with them and hitch your wagon onto a “movement” that

Why worry about the appearance of bias? GamersGate only cares when females get perks associated with games journalism. If a female wrote this article they would expect her to lug her own PS4 to Konami, hook it up, install it and provide her own chair. :)

I’ve thought about this. The shopkeepers don’t know he is saving the world, and even if they did he could be just one of many “heroes” that come by claiming to do that. And besides, what if they give him free help, then he fails and Ganondorf decides to go back and find his network of contributors? Shopkeepers have

The problem is how the scrolling works in two player. You can go much further to the right without scrolling in 2 player, to the point where things can appear and kill you before you can react.

It’s not even close to the hardest game ever, even without the Konami code. There were some crazy hard NES games, I don’t get why people think this is one of them.

No, Minecraft cannot get sued, but the maker/distributors of the mod could.

I love how lots of money can ensure that simply printing “Not our fault” in small text on the back of the ticket takes precedence over taking reasonable precautions like nets down to at least 1st/3rd base, particularly in large parks.

Yeah, and don’t forget even if you are paying attention, what happens when you do duck in time? The guy behind you eats the bat instead and still it causes a problem. The nets should extend much further around. If you want to catch a free baseball get a seat in the outfield.

My main issues with DS1 is that it seemed to peak well before the end of the game. It felt like such a slog after Smough and Ornstein. Last boss was great, though. Some of the environments were disappointing, and the tech had issues, particularly in Blighttown.

Aren’t you exaggerating just a wee bit? Dark Souls 2 was fantastic, but yes I can see people like Dark Souls better.
