There are several racecars I’d love to see in the flesh, but if I had to pick just one, I’d go with the Penske PC23 with the pushrod Benz motor Al Unser Jr. won the ‘94 Indy 500 with. The history and story behind that car is still fascinating to this day and such a feat will likely never happen again at Indy.

Wow, I’m not gonna lie, seeing the chalet being torn down was upsetting. :-(

I always wanted an F-16 as a personal commuter. I watched “Iron Eagle” way too much when I was a kid.

Very cool. I heard yesterday Tony Schumacher is returning full-time to Top Fuel with his dad’s team and I was wondering what was going to happen with Leah. I like her and was hoping she wouldn’t fall by the wayside, so this is good news. And you gotta love Tony Stewart. From a competition standpoint, I’m glad he’s not

Ah, good ol’ Lyle Lanley. He left Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook in shambles. Good thing Springfield dodged that bullet(train).

Being in the Northeast, I’d go with a base Impreza. Low cost, all the amenities and safety features one really needs, and AWD to boot. And the trunk and back seat are big enough for a family of 4 (speaking from experience).

I’ve often considered getting a B7 Audi Rs4. Perfect car for me - stick, V8, AWD, room for 4, decent trunk... What holds me back is the car is too old to warranty through Audi and there is no way on God’s green earth I’m rolling the dice on out-pocket-repairs on that car.

I don’t know, man. I waited DECADES for Chevy to put the engine where God intended it, but ever since the mid-engine Vette came out, it’s left me feeling... cold. The styling does nothing for me. It’s almost like two teams designed the car - one for the front, one for the rear, and they never spoke once during the

I heard the guy owed him money.

I can get out and run faster than this!

Thank you, I appreciate that!

I’m of the opinion we hit our peak about 20-25 years ago as far as the sweet spot between tech, reliability, driver engagement, and safety are concerned. Older cars (think pre-90's) were not nearly as safe or reliable, and it seems newer cars (and this is strictly my opinion) try to “outsmart” their drivers and keep

“All gas is the same, there’s no need to buy super.” Heard that a lot from the old timers growing up as a kid.

Every time I think humanity has hit rock bottom, someone pulls out a shovel.

Pretty much anything related to making a car “stanced.” I understand that certain people love the stance look and that’s fine, I’m not knocking it. But it’s hard to argue that slamming a car to the ground and having a laughable amount of negative camber makes every aspect of the car’s performance worse. Braking,

He drove his Chevy to the levy, but regretfully, the levy was not dry.

I’d love to see Toyota bring back the MR2. Mid-engine, reliable, not crazy $$, manual tranny (and T-tops if you’re listening, Toyota)... Not sure if it’ll ever happen, but it would sure be a treat for the car geeks among us.

I know there is going to be a difference of opinion here, but I’m going to lob this out - GIGANTIC WING OR DIE!

Two things...

This is truly the end of an era and I’m grateful to have been able to follow it from start to finish. Thanks for all the memories, Valentino! Enjoy retirement!
