This really is hugely disappointing. I love watching this show with Mike and Edd mainly because they are not “caricatures of loud, arrogant, tattooed meatheads yelling at everyone.” I cannot imagine this show without Edd and I don’t think I want to. Thanks, I’m totally bummed out now.

Same. I went to the ‘14 race, too, and spent the week in Austin. Had a phenomenal time and the whole city embraced and catered to the GP festivities perfectly.

Yeah, Surfer’s was a great race. I used to love when they opened the season with that race. The ‘94 race was really special. I would love to have that back. And, you know, the cars! Man, those cars were effin’ fast.

Unfortunately, I can’t disagree. As a long-time fan, I still watch every race out of a sense of obligation, if you will. But I lost significant interest once CART/Champcar died. THOSE were the real IndyCars. I just can’t help but wonder if the cars looked and sounded better if it would help ratings or attendance...

I was genuinely saddened to hear of his passing. My favorite role of his is still Chet from “Weird Science.” I’ve seen the movie at least a hundred times and after all these years, his character still makes me laugh.
