A machine is not creating art.

wow that one comment is supported by the whole of the human race huh? it’s completely emblematic of the whole species?

Just to be clear about that statement though, Gunna is in jail because of accusations of actual criminal actions. Not because of his rap lyrics.

Speaking as someone who has seen the movie and is also a huge fan of cleavage, I did not find the cleavage to be distracting or even a thing worth thinking about. This movie takes place mostly in the dark lit by cellphone cameras. There’s no actual nudity. Stenberg’s character shows cleavage but not excessively so,

Probably because you’re noticing more and more reviewers who are younger and younger, and make everything about their own subjective experience.  (I know, I know, get off my lawn, hey you cloud, etc)

Being a film critic has always been subjective, of course, but there was a time that it aspired to be more about the

It’s about time a movie featured cleavage.

It’s such a smarmy thing to say but totally consistent with the recent trend of co-opting the jargon of self-help and pop sociology to bolster your own position.

What good’s the true story when Matt Schimkowitz can complain about something else?

It’s not an Addams Family gag if you see the gory results to their actions. It’s about the before or after.

Yeah, that’s kind of the whole point. The Addams never inflict harm on non-Addams in any meaningful way unless they’re abject horrors (like a serial killer). It’s a really aggressive misunderstanding of the whole Addams appeal.

Addams were a nice loving family. The violence is off putting. A dong bitten off in the first trailer? Piranha 3D already did that. Be more creative.

Schimkowitz needs to go watch all the blinding, beautiful colors in ‘Ms. Marvel’ and shut his 22-year-old ass up. I’ve got t-shirts older than he is.

It’s the second shift at the V Club.  Schimkowitz, Hughes, and (the king) Barsanti.

I’m not sure what “the hideous washed-out colors Marvel’s become known for” are but that’s one hell of a trailer. You do get the impression this is one area in MCU that gets to avoid the stylistic depersonalization of directors Marvel is indeed known for because, you know, Wakanda forever.

Interestingly enough, literally nobody in the entire world gives a single shit about this at all.

Do you think having a female James Bond would correct in any sense for “centuries of discrimination against women”? Or do you think — as I do — that it would more likely be received as a provocation and incite/fuel greater resentment as a cultural lightning rod? That it would help breed some of the misogyny I’m sure

They do say that luf is bline. And if a lot of pipple luf each uvver, the whirl would be a bttr place.

I personally think the students got it right.

I remember Juan Williams taking O’reilly to a black diner, and Bill was amazed that they were eating like normal people, he just couldn’t get over it, he was just flabbergasted that there wasn’t much difference between how black people and white people ate. I wondered what the hell he had in his mind, like, that black
