The problem is that breaking the downforce is crazy easy. Just a few degrees of yaw (or crosswind) and you’re feeling it, by the time you’re sideways you’re generating zero.

I make no claims on the F35 being the way to go, but if you’re building a craft to be your main workhorse for 30+ years, you sure as hell are considering everything you can. There’s always the looming thought of having to deal with a roughly-equal adversary. Missles aren’t perfect and you only carry a few of them, so there’s always a chance you’ll have to go in with the guns. Missiles aren’t always far away, either, so you still need to be able to maneuver yourself into a firing position.

Once he finished that slump of his shoulders, the only motion he can make is throwing the ball, either to the batter or to the runner. That little jerk he makes is neither, so it’s a balk.

Pretty remarkable that, while that 917 was three seconds faster, it had an uninterrupted 200 mph straight on that lap.

Baseball seems too low of a fruit but I fear you’re probably right.

It may seem like torture doing some of the things fresh off of healing, but I hear it’s even worse if you let it heal bad and THEN have to do PT on it.
