By far the best scenes in the series, interrupted by Aemond inexplicably deciding that now, after many years of having put the fight they had as kids behind him, literally wants and eye for an eye. Dumb. Simply a plot point written for the sole purpose of showing off Aemond’s jewel eye.

I’d say Renly’s bigger failure was the sequence with which he was born.

The book certainly isn’t history.  It’s history thru the eyes (or ears) of the narrators.  Not all first hand accounts, and many contradictions.

They Dance in Season Two.

My goodness, this show is visually breathtaking and brilliantly performed, but it may be the worst-written series is HBO’s history.  It has such potential that is foolishly squandered by poor choices, flip-flopping motives, and the most obvious foreshadowing.  I place the blame squarely on Ryan Condal.  He’s god awful

1. I cannot imagine it could be considered sexual assault if the entity in control at the time (Hulk) gave willful consent. At the same time, I do not think it would be right to force Banner to provide child support for offspring he wasn’t directly involved in conceiving.

This series took a lot of shit, most of which I felt was undeserved.  The one issue they *absolutely* deserved criticism over was the visual effects and that picture with the headline is case-in-point.  Skaar looks fucking teeeeeeeerrible.

Very clear. She had the same empty stare in her eyes as when she got the late night “u up?” from Viserys.

The Larys foot fetish thing was hilarious, especially how it sneaks up on you. It’s not until he starts jerking off at the end that it’s 100% clear what’s going on.

Yes, I’m finding Tolkien fanboys very similar to Star Wars fanboys.  Impossible standards, constant criticism.

The MVP this season has to be Clark, but Robert Aramayo is a close second.

I should stop watching Inside the Episodes. When the creators talk, they make the show dumber. Because no, it is not “badass” or “triumphant” to slaughter completely innocent citizens with your dragon in the same episode you just preached to Otto about respecting the importance of the citizens.

They began laying the groundwork that Halbrand was Sauron early on. He even went so far as to literally state his plan with the rings in Episode 3 (if memory serves). It was all part of his plan, he needed the elvensmiths to do his dirty work for him, so he needed to gain enough trust to gain access and influence.

But did it change the hierarchy of power in post credit scenes forever?  Because if not, I’m afraid I’m just not interested.

Uh... no, they’re saying it will go 4 seasons to tell the whole story of the Dance. I think they can keep “House of the Dragon” going beyond that by turning it into an anthology series and telling other stories, like Robert’s Rebellion, The Blackfyre Rebellion, Aegon’s Conquest, etc., but the 4 seasons they’re

So... who are Gozer and her two friends supposed to be?

I also made and deleted a very inappropriate tweet about a certain character known for his dry skin.  The first Vaemond scene with Rhaenys, dude needed some lotion and chapstick from the looks of it.

Yeah, underwater propulsion would have been better than actual flying.

They’re certainly not perfect, but I was just pointing out that the competition seems to get the job done without this level of sloppiness in relatively short order (with the obvious advantage of getting screeners). Still, the point is, if it takes another couple hours to get a more cogent recap that doesn’t fuck up

I know, I wasn’t criticizing you.  Just calling a spade a spade.
