Also, the car looks pretty slammed with the wider wheels and added flares. Points for style even if they couldn’t clear a speed bump.

Amazing article, well written, unbiased, and intriguing. The EV competition at the ‘Ring is definitely a good refresher and very exciting!
For a 1-2" lift, your probably going to be just fine by letting the geometry of the other components fall wherever they do, due to the longer spring / increased droop. I’m betting the truck just gets an alignment, but no real unique parts to accomodate to the geometry change like new control arms or something to…
it’s always “just a joke” when it blows up in your face.
Why doesn't Ford or GM make a truck that is lowered by ten inches and have and absolute beast of an engine with race car specs?
Ooh yippee! More “journalism”! You’ve really got me excited after the last great piece you wrote!!
Looking forward to it.
Good sir I think you doth protest too much. You have a source from outside of the company that fits your narrative. But there’s a very good chance that there is more to this than your article lead on. Instead of admitting that you may have been overzealous, or even remaining silent while trying to find the actual…
Isn’t each one of those “next” times a preparation for the proceeding “next”?
Ehhh, point is that CERTAIN PEOPLE will all of a sudden complain ITS NOT STOCK (and totally not care if the Taycan lap was on “stock” tires”).
1) Tires are super important based on what kind of driving you are optimizing for.
2) they are the most easily changed performance/tailoring part of the car (aside from the…
On top of the 3-4 other Tesla bashing articles posted last week. Let’s also not sit here and play to the tune that Robb’s article was by any means flattering towards Tesla.
The D in P100D is for dual-motor.
Y’all were bashing Tesla and this attempt for an entire week about this. gg
Jokes aside, it still has to fit in garages and parking spaces. It’s easy to make a very large sedan since they are just smaller. But at some point, you just can’t make an SUV much bigger since they’re already pushing the limits of size.
It’s still a large SUV, it’s just not THAT much larger. Think about it. An Escalade is big right? This is larger than the standard Escalade.
The man is a fucking idiot. We’ve known that for years. Thus no need to be in a quandary. Hopefully more Americans have realized this and we’ll only have to endure embarrassing headlines for one more year.
Engine sound is great, but so is insta-torque and being able to hear your tires screaming at the edge of traction.
COTD is not what it used to be.
Drop spindles don’t have power going through them, right?
Uh huh. Elon is so bad that his SpaceX has done things NO OTHER MANUFACTURER has done, and has basically kicked China and the Europeans out of the space launch market. Oh and Tesla finally got the legacy auto manufacturers off their collective asses to FINALLY give EVs a look, instead of sitting on their ass selling…
