Pretty sure using today’s rating standards your Suburban wouldn’t be rated for 10,000 pounds... Secondly, Anyone who tows 12k with a 1/2 is playing with fire anyway.

Ahhh, wait, you’re right. Good catch! I do still recall 4 variations though and I think the first prototype came in 2003.

Really? I’m pretty sure the concept that eventually became the LFA first showed up in 2000. 4 variations too. Remember the roadster?

Right, my bad

The parting line looks like the Fusion trunk to me. Fusion ST with the 400 hp 3.0T from Lincoln.

ST line would not have stand alone ST badges. ST-Line is like Audi’s S-Line. Most of the appearance mods with none of the performance upgrades. Full ST Fords usually have a unique powerplant and suspension settings.

Those look like optional wheels from the pre-facelift Fusion. I’ve had a lot of 13-15 titaniums through my inventory with them. Very cool wheels though.

My guess is it’s the new Focus ST, which I’m hoping it is (as a current ST owner)... and I’m hoping its AWD to make it a mini RS and true competitor to the WRX. I would buy it.

The block isn’t the same at all. The 2.0L EcoBoost GTDI engine is a closed deck block where as the 2.3L was an open deck block design.

Forget the ST. Keep up the pressure for the E-Series Cutaway RS!

THEY’RE BRINGING BACK THE WINDSTAR

STs don’t have issues, only RSs do.

Toyota knows how to generate some excitement in racing when it wants to. Too bad it doesn’t trickle down to their cars. How about a Yaris TRD Toyota? a little Turbo 1.6 with 180-200 hp 6 speed would be a lot of fun and get those young people into the show rooms you’ve been after.

RIP any hope for a true “small” light duty truck :’(

I’m looking forward to another pick-up in the mix. After so many years on the market, I’m curious to see Toyota’s next Tacoma/HiLux. It would be nice to see a modern Dakota, too.

The Honda Insight originally shipped as a hybrid with a manual, but the extent of my knowledge of how hybrids work is, well, nonexistent.

Most daily drivers are appliances. You can bet your ass I will still go through a car wash no matter what. As far as washing salt off with a wand goes I’m going to call shenanigans. Unless you lift your car up there is no way you are getting the same level of clean as several jets in a line blasting the underside.

Sounds very meh, getting bored of the V8 being in everything. Just makes want to find the old straight 6 TVR.

As somebody that went from Saab to WRX to Fiesta ST, I’d say it is more than a minimal difference on snow and ice. The Subie got shit mileage and then blew a motor, but it could hook up right away, even with similar studded tires on both.

All you are doing is making yourself sound double-ignorant for using the clearly ignorant as a reference and excuse for your own mistakes there, Wikipedia.
