That sort of money buys quite a few cars that are better, and more interesting.

I live about 40 minutes from The Dragon...four C8’s were being driven out there this afternoon.

Oklahoma could very well still be one of the best four teams in the country”

The problem was, it wasn’t just bad engineering with the Vega that was a problem.

0-60 in 11 seconds, from the Turbo model...

I wouldn’t be too hard on him...that’s precisely what Roger Smith thought about cars, and GM actually put him in charge, because to the board, it made sense to them.  That one decision, and mindset more or less destroyed GM’s dominance in the US market.

OptiSpark? Just replaced the one in my ‘93...Petris Enterprises makes one with decent warranty, AND it’s vented like the later OptiSparks were from the factory....

I’d look at maybe the cream/gold colors Oldsmobile used on the ‘78 and ‘79 W-30 Cutlasses....yours is just as boxy.  :)

IIRC, the air conditioning was barely adequate on these when new...and 3 decades, and a switch to R134 isn’t likely to be an improvement.

Yes, vehicle emissions are much better than they were in 1990...

Absolutely...but it’s not often someone takes out TWO trees...
