As a black man, I wasn’t considered a citizen on July 4th, 1776

I feel this is the appropriate moment to extoll on how much of a badass Mary McDonnell is in this scene, and entire movie. She’s like the eye of the chaos storm. Sadly, all I can find are Battlestar gifs, which are not appropriate.

Yes, the whole soundtrack is amazing and the head over heels sequence is perfect. And the scene from your GIF...

That was pretty much my entire reaction to the movie the first time I saw it.

You can tell a lot about a person by their feelings on Donnie Darko.

She then proceeded to walk me around from manager to manager asking if they needed a new hire.

Do you think he hated her at the time he cleaned out her account? It seems very hate-y to me.

On my worst first day, I got off an airplane in a strange city, got on a bus and was immediately yelled at. They took me to get all my hair shaved off, gave me strange looking clothes, and yelled at me a lot more. All this without a day off for 8 weeks and the pay wasn’t that great, only about $780 a month.

She either had some sort of premonition about him leaving her or she gave him the idea to clean out her bank account. Either way, I found that moment to be fucking hilarious.

Ok, so I’ve interviewed to be a Unix systems admin at a startup and arrive my first day. My new manager walks me around introducing me to everyone but, in retrospect, being a little cagey regarding what I am going to do. Finally he introduces me to Sean.

You can literally watch Shay plot his getaway all season.

My favorite moment was when Scheana was all “What, are you going to clean out my bank account?” to Shay, he responds “Maybe?”... but then actually that’s what he did.

Not a worst first day, but a worst ... fourth day, I guess, and afterward.

Not my first day, but the first day of a guy I hired at a startup back in 2000. He started at 9am and then we had mass layoffs (including him) at 1015 and began the shut down of the company.

What percentage of the time would his shirt be off?

I think Duane Johnson’s introduction of Lin-Manuel Miranda shows that he should host.

Is that the interview where Biel said Justin was ready but his back up singers/dancers better have their shit together? Whoever she said it to, they were like, Ok I guess that’s a mic drop moment.

I saw him on the pre-show and Robin Roberts mentioned how he’s starting the show, and instead of being a normal person and replying “Yeah, it’s going to be great,” he pretended he didn’t know and yuk’d it up longer than it needed to be. “I am? I better get going hurr hurr hurr.”

Her exclusion might have more to do with Arquette having spent her last few years in Hollywood trying to burn the place down, attacking other artists and trying to out them (even when they’re not gay.) I’m not exactly surprised the town wasn’t fond of her.
