Look. Maybe I’m weird....

you should watch The Matador.

I mean, hindsight being 20/20... I see it.  But it really is a good book.  Before Enron the SEC could really cause damage to a Corporation breaking rules but not laws(if you see what I mean).  Now, they can barely scratch the surface with the rulings courts made in the 2010s.

You should really read the book “The Chickenshit Club: Why the Justice Department Fails to Prosecute Executives”. The SEC is as much a part.

This is hard to understand so I get it. Changing programming is corporately low level and so it’s done fast. Changing corporate policy requires changing executives, possibly changing the type of executives you have. And then that policy has to funnel down into departments and sections. It takes time even more.

No matter when the movement started they will have started in an “interesting time” for the reason this article demonstrated. There are crimes that don’t have a limit(murder). And there are crimes that do(sexual assault and/or sexual harassment).

You say that like re-ordering any other comics this week would do anything but just give you a different comic to complain about.

Don’t like What if?

There are solutions, but no Democrat (save Cori Bush, one of those evil evil squad members!) bothered to take any initiative on them.

We could always remake them all from scratch... new directors and everything.

I’m not going to say awful. And not to put to fine a point on it I did not point fingers at any single host just that there’d be something there that may or may not cause pr awkwardness for some subgroups and others shrug.

Throw a dart at the wall of Jeopardy! hosts.  There’ll be a skeleton or ten in that person’s closet.  At some point they’re gonna throw up their hands and shout “FUCK IT” and hire someone and not give two shits what we say and swallow a few years of lesser ratings as we just get used to them.

Throw a dart at the board of possibilities.  Doesn’t matter whose face you hit.  The crowd will clammor loudly with reasons they shouldn’t host.  At some point someone will host amid the clamoring.

So we haven’t broken quantum physics yet?

Corpse Run. Ouch.

We call this ‘meh’:

You’re a bit too pedantic for you’re own good if you can’t tell why this case is important.

Cats and other smaller animals are fickle judgement calls due to their size once they get into what we might term “senior citizen” age. My family had a healthy for his age cat that took a hop from a chair wrong and broke his leg. It was awkward enough to need surgery and next thing we know we’re being told by the
