Nintendo isn’t trying.

Because it’s blatantly fucking obvious he’s teeing himself up for the Republican primary. If he gave one god damn about the consequences in-state on what his decisions could lead to he’d pay more attention to exactly the shit I’m pointing out. Just like the governors of Arkansas and Alabama are now doing. Governing is

I really think you’ve complete misinterpreted or misunderstood the point(s) of my first post.

I’m not, in any way, defending what DeSantis has been doing. You’ve said yourself, just now: you don’t live here anymore. You don’t know the politics on the ground, because you aren’t constantly interacting with people who

Here’s the odd thing. I’ve ended up with the weird companies. Instead of one big QA department, all the testing specialists were just broken up and made a part of the programming teams.

About the hurricanes: people who aren’t from Florida overstate the significance of hurricanes, specifically major hurricanes, which are rather rare. Nevertheless, your point stands, but those estimates have been wildly off for a significant number of years. Unlike the 2004 and 2005 hurricane seasons where most

Living through Andrew isn’t overstating what the hurricanes can do, nevermind how much of a notch or three they’ve turned up since I’ve moved up the coast.

Politically, for DeSantis to lose, Florida would have to see death numbers rise to the level of New York City at its peak. I just don’t think it’s possible given the amount of people we have vaccinated, and the fact Florida doesn’t have any individual city as populous or as dense as NYC. Even when it got bad last

DeSantis is trying to win the 2024 Primary at the price of the Florida General.  They’re going to remember this.

I can picture a number other people they auditioned...”auditioned...”

Well on the one hand we have the universally loved LeVar Burton, and on the other hand we have a guy with a long history of hostile workplace litigation... the choice is easy.

This is not a game that should be a board game. But my inner child likes that it is having board game problems.

Thing about Burton that was interesting was the style was distinctly different that they might fine-tune just a little. I liked that. It might take the fans at large just a little time to get used to it, but once they do, it becomes his show if he gets it.

That was...weird...

Man this fight was honestly just lazy.  I’m honestly not OH-11.  I’m not even OH.  But the shit they were throwing at each other had me rolling my eyes and had me asking why there’s even political parties in the first place.

I think Blizzard is trying to play a fast game here. I hope it doesn’t work. I think you’re right in that these two people have been in the company too long for them to be a legit executive solution, nevermind whether the rest of anything resembling a board wouldn’t just still be Blizzard culture anyways.

And the investigations will always take way longer than two weeks. So will the results. I’m not sure if the fallout from this will have any real teeth. But it’s not like things like this aren’t unsurvivable if the corporation comes out at least half-assedly changed on the other side. Hell, there have been instances

For those keeping score.  Let’s not panic.  It takes longer than two weeks for these lawsuits to progress.

Dolly is a person that gives everybody in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge 1000$/mo when a wildfire rages through there and burns the place down. And she doesn’t go one and done. She does that until the place is rebuilt. Nevermind the reading program she’s funded for years and god damn years.

I’m surprised that anybody is surprised.  It’s not exactly a shocker that a parent gets schooled by their child.
