I really hope that they will include codes on IRL booster packs that allow you to unlock free packs in game, just like Pokemon does. Otherwise I can’t see myself playing too much of the game since I still enjoy buying booster packs and don’t want to double dip.

There’s been talk of that in the Kpop fandoms as well. Several artists are known PC gamers - Baekhyun from EXO, most notably - and it would obviously draw in some numbers to have them do livestreams or Let’s Plays. A couple videos have been put out on a one-time, experimental basis, but that’s it.

The popularity of anime girl gaming personalities makes me wonder why more mainsteam idols don’t make gaming videos or stream regularly, particularly those who are already known to be heavily into video games. Someone like Rena Matsui could pull in massive numbers given her popularity from being in both SKE48 and

Ai-chan’s appeal is her character, I don’t know other virtual youtubers with likable traits

ai has the huge advantage of having her vids eng subbed, i hope more follow. i find her vids charming and absurd and they give me this nice ‘the future is now’ vibe.

Ai Kizuna is so funny. Hard to see how anyone else could top that channel.

I for one welcome our new anime girl overlords.

So, what we’re seeing speaks for itself.

Although I see your point, the only 2 Scott movies that put him in the canon of cinematic visionaries are Alien & Blade Runner. And both really only became great due to things somewhat outside his control.

Ridley Scott needs to sit the fuck down and shut up for a while. He’s been trying to make himself happen again for whatever reason.

He didn’t direct the new Blade Runner, and there really wasn’t anything wrong with the new one that wasn’t also wrong with the old one.

Maybe it’s the fact that he’s 80 years old and knows he hasn’t got that long left. If I was him, I’d make whatever I could, as soon as I could.

I would be interested in them continuing the story of the “replicant revolution” they established in 2049- but only if they get a director on board as good (or better) than Dennis Villanueve.

Yeah, but it’s Ridley Scott. Even his worst garbage fires are better than most people’s Gold Medal wins, so to speak. Give him 200 mil and let him mediocratize another weekend at the movies, I say.

I smell a new puzzle for the fans to solve. Who’s the secret Sith?

Absolutely.

Sure, why not? But introducing a new villians like that in the third part of a trilogy seems like lazy writing.

I’m less concerned about Snoke’s other apprentices than I am the one we’re already aware of.
