For some reason I did not have the horrible hissing on my television like everyone else, nor did I have trouble hearing the singing or the dialog. I have an older TV so perhaps that is the reason.

I was very impressed with this review. I totally agree with your praise for Benanti, Borle, McDonald and Rinehart.
It is a shame Underwood wasn't better because this would have been a more memorable show. But I'm still glad to see a stage version recorded with the two songs that were left out of the movie.
I absolutely hated the Jackie subplot, it seemed a repeat of all the other inane Jackie subplots and it was a waste of Mary Stuart Masterson, who didn't even have any good lines. And I found someone being accused of terrorism linked to a comic storyliine also borderline iffy. Not sure what to make of the new lawyer…
I liked the episode more than Myles did. But maybe because it was relief from a stressful night. I also liked the last scene between Holmes and Watson very much, though maybe it was too explicit in the dialog. So is Coventry going to become a bad guy?
The whistle. Enough said.
After Revenge: The Happy Life of Emily Thorne
Emily has no ex-husband. She made that up and now it doesn't matter.
It's been so long since Emily kissed Jack I forgot.
I know Nolan isn't ruthless but I didn't want him to be so nice to the publicist in the end. Why does Charlotte dislike Emily so much again? I keep forgetting.
Cary's niceness is a remnant from the actor being on The Gilmore Girls.
To those who dislike Owen, I have to disagree. He's the one character that Alicia can open up to in her family. I wish he were on the show more often. Once again some theater people on the show including Max von Essen from Evita, Christian Borle from Peter and the Starcatcher, and Hunter Parrish from Godspell.
May not be a great film but there were sequences that were breathtakingly lovely and I was happy to watch every minute.
I think how much you enjoy Saul as a lead in Homeland depends how much you enjoy the acting of Mandy Patinkin. I've never loved his work all the time as much as some do.
If Alicia were smart, she would get Peter to do something for Diane pronto.
Yes, Grace and guns is not a good way to go.
Not sure what you mean. I've been watching this show devotedly from the very beginning. I'm just stating how I feel about what I was watching tonight.
Is it Aiden who shoots Emily?
"Obey your mother." Only Madeleine Stowe could say they line with a straight face.
How can a Revenge group not know Nolan was bi or gay? Had they not watched previous seasons?
The shifting of relationships from start to finish was interesting in this episode but unsettling. A lot of people sure know who Emily really is now. Maybe too many? Is Emily VanCamp leaving after this season? Because if she does bring the Graysons down, what is left of Revenge? I don't think we've seen the last of…
