He actually went to Ole Miss, but I see how you can get confused - both schools give out imaginary educations and have animosity between color-based groups

And yet the only comment I've read stating anything like that is yours. Stir the pot much? =|

Toronto Argonauts.

Trust me, you don't want to see Mt. Holyoke's very literal "Now You Are A Woman" unis.

Apparently, these colors do run.

2+ million apiece? If only I was nine again.

Clearly Tomlin's missing the point, as he now only tweets using 53 characters.

Sure assholes, make fun of him just because he's brave enough to pursue a dream. I for one admire this man's spunk.

God, I was briefly terrified that Morgan Freeman was dead and this was some sort of tribute.

His excuse that he was just "three sheets to the wind" isn't going to help.

I vaguely remember the concept of a military training exercise of some sort going horribly wrong as being one of the theories being floated around back then. Terrorists would be shouting from the rooftops about taking down a civilian airliner. The military would not be.

My response is that the terrorists, who would benefit from the truth being known, would call out the official US stance on the incident.

In Serena's dictionary . . .

A 16 year-old girl raped repeatedly while drunk = "lucky"

A top-5 tennis player in love with someone Serena dislikes = also "lucky"

One lesson: Don't be lucky.

I dunno. I thought the Rock was a decent movie.

Yes, you can remand a defendant to the department of correction without bail. The Supreme Court has deemed that a suspect does not have an absolute right to bail. Some crimes are automatically no bail/bond like crimes that qualify for capital punishment.

Seriously, of all the celebrities to pick on for their privilege, Angie is the wrong one...

I think it was created off the work of the tax-payer funded Human Genome Project. The company that holds the patent was not the one to discover the gene, they were just the first to think of filing a patent. The test isn't anything spectacularly advanced compared to any other genetic test, its just that no one else is

The diagnostic test has already been patented. As well as the actual BRAC1, BRAC2 genes (along with their potential mutations) The court case is still pending, but some of the patents expire next year. Hopefully it will be cheaper then.

I have no idea if not turning your phone off interferes with the plane. But I do know that the airlines tell me to do it, and as part of my contract with the airline and society in general, I do it. If one person pisses in the pool no one notices; if we all piss in the pool, then you're swimming in piss.

I am the very model of a modern Star Fleet Admiral
