The point is that someone other than the owner did this without permission from said owner. This was a dick move from the tech (and stupid that they didn’t know about the PDR).

My 1980 Triumph Spitfire is not equipped with overdrive, so it’s top speed is maybe 60mph. I wouldn’t dare drive it on the interstate, but it’s so slow and so well-balanced, that you can do whatever you want on curves without worrying about getting in trouble. Plus you can’t see a Spitfire and not be happy, so

Driving slow cars fast is so much more enjoyable than driving a fast car slow; that’s one reason I got rid of my M5. This is where Miatas excel. I have an Mr2 Spyder now. It only has 138hp, but its size, weight (2195lbs), gearing, and mid engine, rear wheel drive design make it a blast to drive through the mountains

An article about an old VW without a 2000 word in-depth analysis of the taillights?

Fiero was my first thought as well. I think that every X1/9 that’s left is living on very short borrowed time before completely disintegrating into dust.

Fiat X1/9

It certainly makes no sense to purchase an early adopter-market vehicle, not when second- and third-gen are so much more effective and entering the used market. Low buy-in notwithstanding, this car would be too frustrating to put up with.

EVs are progressing so quickly in terms of range, that it makes no sense to me to be an early adopter. This car is pretty much useless. Sure it’s a fine commuter, but a good used Corolla for $10,000 gets you a real car plus $3000 for “dino juice”.

Lol! $25,000 for what could be accomplished with a wrap. It’s not even a good car; all things considered. Rare, GOOD cars, sure. Rare, medicore cars? Meh.

Keep the weird trailers coming, please and thank you.

Don’t forget that the US market is relatively small for VW-branded vehicles. In fact, if VW the brand removed themselves from the US, their global sales would shrink by about 5%.

I checked my local dealer inventory in Kirkland, and my issue is that all they have is white and black, with the only blue one in inventory already sold. Looking at the Ford dealer, they don’t have any fun colors in the Mach-E, either. That could be a bit of a problem as well.

I’m sure it has to do with shitty VW dealers and the usual games they play. I just looked up my local VW dealer and of course all of the iD4's are “call for price.”

I like the looks of these; stylish and elegant for a wagon. BUT that price for that kind of mileage is insane. I don’t care how lovingly it has been cared for and all the maintenance records, stuff is going to fail on a regular basis once you’ve made one trip to the moon . . . Ain’t the years, it’s the mileage that

I’m impressed it’s still smog legal in CA.

I read somewhere that he and his wife had planned on retiring in Greece. If that’s the case, he’s probably getting rid of stuff on his US properties that he doesn’t use much anymore.

Wow, calling Tom Hanks Tom Cruise, what a fucking insult.

I’m just trying to understand the thought to do this in a densely populated area containment vehicle or not. Things fail. People know this.

Would love to have a lower spec (not base) diesel g-wagon here in the states.

You’d be hard pressed to find a $60K car made today that would give you less potential problems than a Reagan-era Mercedes, and changing the headlights won’t set you back a mortgage payment. The days I’d pay more for crank windows and less gadgets just to avoid inevitably sticking some electrical tape over a check
