This actually came to mind this morning as I was getting out of a VW dealer’s loaner Atlas. When turning the engine off, the screeen beeps and asks if the vehicle is empty. Something to consider with a 7 year-old child who has been known to fall asleep in the third row. This is a standard feature that should be on

Perhaps an online database with examples of the ads & forms these dealers put out. Something searchable by dealer, key words... How about this being an AI project?

Been waiting on Sportwagen TDI parts for 2 months and driving a loaner Atlas. I am actually starting to like it. The Touareg must be awesome.

Then again, with his math skills perhaps he does belong in Congress... (just kidding. I can’t stand the guy. I am sure he will do nicely off selling his story for the movie.)

How neat! This is right up there with the proposal in the California legislature that starting in 2028 EV vehicles will have to support the grid when they are plugged in. No, thank you!

Well that makes perfect sense, doesn’t it?  Though I don’t think increasing the fine would have kept this person from driving the semi.

Nope. Not until the state and/or power companies help with the purchase price. The batteries are only good for a given number of cycles and I am not handing that over to anyone who didn’t pay for it. I am already selling my solar power back at pittance to the grid. This is too much.

Sorry, that just makes it all the more lame.

Agreed. This was been known for a long time as general knowlegde. You don’t need an accupuncturist telling you this, though mine reminded me years ago. Really, this can’t just be a California thing.

Safety doesn’t care what side of the polical spectrum you are on. That truck tire sure didn’t care.

Sad to say it seems fart can exhaust give you instante street cred on SoCal too.

Is this the one with an Engine Out (EO) service for just about everything? The one with the timing on the back of the engine?

Argreed. You should see how drivers freak out when a bicyclist legally takes the lane from them. How soon people forget the rules of the road.

Back in the day, I used to want to ram Saturn’s for their beady little high beams that were always on. That was nothing compared to how bad it has gotten with nearly everyone driving SUVs.

It easy to forget about the bill you don’t have to pay and focus on the one that is due. I am bracing for my first electric/gas bill in the eight months since switching to solar. I will just sum up all the utility bills for the same period from prior year, and then decide.

Consider, just what does that mean in the used car market? Are there standards? Any reference to a curated cars by Cars & Bids is just sales talk.

Thank you for that example. Amazing for the price/value. It really puts this posting on the tail end of the curve and shows how absurd it is.

I don’t think he was looking for an antique.

I live in a neighborhood that at present time could not afford to buy into. However, your statement are very classic and ironic. On one hand is the concept that these United States are the land of the free, and the other the announcement that there should be a law against that. Like it or not, whomever owns

IF you do get a better purchase price from the dealer, that is the cost to be financed is lower, then consider going with it. Afterall, there is nothing preventing you from refinancing you car from you credit union. The assumption being that you have already a firm idea of why type of rate you could get from other
