There really is no excuse for the torn seat at this asking price. The work done was nothing exceptional and would be expected to keep the vehicle road worthy. Can’t believe that an option of whitewall tires was selected for $55! That being said, no dice at this price.

Now if these could only keep the car from being smoked in! There are certainly no unsmoked vehicles at Orlando (MCO).

As noted by at least one VW advertisement!

Nice! For some reason I thought the Dutch were nuts for their tulip mania in the 1600s. We are certainly no better as demonstrated here. Diversions like this shall soon fix the problem that there are some with just too much money.

I like how they cite client “flexability”! Yes, customers can indeed look elsewhere. I for one think BMW already built its best!

No, never! Not even if leisure suits come back into style!

I am glad that they do live there. Else, they might be in my state, and lord knows we already have our share of nuts here.

That was awasome! Easy to forget how bad cars were then - particularly GM. It is in that market that I purchased my first car: a ‘79 Fiat X1/9. About the same hp but way more fun!

Got to give credit for a man of his age being on the bike in the first place. The President uses clipons! Ride on !

I was just going to ask about that. That is the Hungarian Flag - go figure.

I have done 43 mph on a titanium hardtail mountainbike coming off Mt. Palomar - rode it up first on Nate Harrison’s grade. At those speeds I realized that mtb wheels & tires are not balanced and the dynamics are different (counter steering). That was scary enough for me. I have been knocked off my commuter bike at 17

Bambi has been known to get occasional revenge on motorcycle riders. Above all, try to be safe.

Reluctanty... I must agree, though I would save a while longer for a new one.

I would put Firestone on the list; but Jiffy Lube? I thought they were just for oil changes, though I wouldn’t trust them to do it right.

We actually had the sedan version of this car with a manual. Great handling and steering. I recall it being very quiet with a reclining backseat. Gave it up after the second engine rebuild. The first was deer strike / hydro-lock. The second was 10,100 miles later, just out of engine rebuild warranty on account that

No manual with turbo - why bother?

Perhaps, but that is just a matter of taste. If there are original to the car, then the existing wheels complete this unmolested car. These are getting rare in original and complete condition.

Have a can of penetrating oil handy. Either PB Blast or Liquid Wrench. If the bolt looks like it will give you trouble, just spray some oil and give it a few minutes.

Awsome pic. I know how much fun these are on cobbled roads.
