Suggestion for the future car reviewers - There should be score to signal or score to signal to the enthusiasts which car models actually let the driver engage and actually “drive”. For instance, the fewer nanny systems, the higher the score! Anything with internet connectivity fails.

Sorry, but event then no subies on account of CV transmission. Give me a DSG any day!

Someone will be buying a lot of vinegar!

As a bicyclist who has to share the roadway with these buses, I must thank you for the info. Also, can you tell me which set of wheels are driven?

Good point. BBC just mentioned that Kenya is about to open its first coal fired power plant, courtesy of China. There was mention of other countries the region doing the same.

“...whereas with home loan, the interest rate is based on the existing principle.” Sorry, but I have to take an exception. Home loans in the US are typically fixed or adjustable. What is a function of the outstanding balance is the interest amount one is charged at any point in time. Same for car loans typically.

As a TDI sportwagen DSG owner, I agree that it is not an enthusiast car. The DSG decision was a compromise with the Mrs., but it can be a blast to drive just the way it is. Getting one with a manual will not change the car’s character. I just take pleasure in driving it spiritedly and that it is NOT an SUV!

Awesome!

Let me guess... road salt?

A MK4 Golf we have is at 159K miles w/ original clutch. Another with DSG had its first 30K mile service at $300. By the time the DSG vehicle gets to 159K and the required service is done then the cost will have exceeded a new clutch.

Just a Californian here who put on a new OEM catalytic converter ($800+) on his 17 year-old beater to pass smog tests without further issues. It is not worth dealing with the state and having them get involved in some aftermarket PoS cats that only last two years. I can’t image that this would be an issue in other

Isn’t that essentially an Open underneath? Would there not already be parts available in Europe?

Now wait a sec. Wasn’t there a recent issue where a newly delivered USAF version of this plane, kitted out as a gunship, did a roll or other unauthorized maneuver and consequently had to be scrapped? What gives?

Agreed. It seems photo a is a must to verify the listing! Just try searching for a manual BMW anything!

Very nice. Having driven the automatic version in Europe with stop/start, I am convinced that there is no other version an enthusiast would want.

I can’t image buying anything from them.

As a MK4 driver....Ouch! I can’t un-see that! That is so wrong!

Wow... I never knew that! But is makes sense. Swords into plowshares...

Sad to read that the Dragonfly was cut up for scrap. I am sure it would have found a place in a museum somewhere - if only to demonstrate ingenuity with limited resources.
