Awesome!

True, but that doesn’t mean people secure what is in the bed. Often it is loose cans, etc., just waiting for the right gust while traveling down the road.

Just a bad idea all around. Bicycling is NOT a motor sport, and lets keep it that way.

The thought had occurred to me as well during by bike ride to work. Commuting by bike is already dangerous enough without this!

Jag. I bike to work past a Jag specialist each day. Just saw a nice rag top version of this out front. La Jolla is close by, so it is not uncommon to see on the road.

Yes, please do press charges! This guy really is an exception.

But no manual E91 in the US. At least VW had the gumption to offer a stick!

Why must a car towing a boat be in the left lane? Hasn’t this question occurred to anyone else

Not if they want their registration tag renewed. The requirement is already listed on the form the DMV sent me.

Your car is a prior generation. No need to be aggravated. Be thankful you never had to smog the thing. Quite unlike current TDI owners in CA.

Now if we could just get some of the banking execs, such as former-CEO of Countrywide, then I would be impressed. Wait, the Feds just dropped charges against him.

You got that right. In CA it is a condition imposed prior to renewal of registration.

Then why did you buy it? (I don’t have the same gripe on account that the DSG was for the Mrs.)

Great question! Not like depreciation is a concern anymore. I just hope to get some reviews on how the fix will change driving experience.

Likely you would have had to taken ownership prior to date the scandal broke. That is how they identified who got the $1,000 good will payment cards. ($500 visa & $500 dealer service.) It is possible to get used TDI, but don’t count on the money because you are already getting a steal because the market has already

As a casual mtb rider, I have to ask. How long did it take to climb Mt. Washington on a bike? I can’t even imagine Pikes Peak on a bike. (I climb Mt. Palomar on a fire road, but descend on pavement; but hydraulic brakes or not, 45 mph is my limit.)

I hope not. Look how they Buell turned out. Wait... it didn’t!

It is not that that big car was made out of a big chunk of steel, but it was designed before 3-d modeling and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

I would suggest the high waist line due to all the airbags. With new cars, ever notice that you feel as if sitting in a bucket these days? Compare a BMW 3 series an e30.

Sales people will say anything as “sales talk”. It is up to you do determine reasonableness.
