Why would a football helmet be used in racing?

Let me add that the current IndyCar with the Aeroscreen looks amazing in person. Kind of a targa LMP1 minus the fenders vibe. Damn shame we haven’t seen them in action yet.

I can tell you what the stolen radio faceplate is about. Getting the whole unit out was too much trouble so they took the faceplate as a big “fuck you” should you get the vehicle back. Bring a few rolls. Go nuts. Do some slide film during the day and some whatever 400 or 800 at night. 

I have one of those in my 35mm arsenal. Fun camera. Fuji Superia Xtra 400 is a solid choice for color. But if it’s going to be bright and sunny out, maybe spring for a roll of slide film like Fuji Velvia 100 or Kodak Ektachrome E100. 

I’ve been shooting film at the Grand Prix of St Petersburg for a few years now. These first three were shot in 2018 on a 1952 Exa Ver. 1 with some film I was not happy with.

Carbon Series in white is the way to go.

Back in maybe 2008 or 2009, one of the three was for sale at the same time as the house who’s window the car flew through. I was really hoping the same person would buy both but it didn’t happen. Total missed opportunity. 

Fuck each and every one of these assholes; the ones driving and the ones filming. Fuck them all. Don’t do this shit. It’s stupid, irresponsible, dangerous, and we are all worse off because of it.

It’s so much more complicated than just point and shoot. And when you nail a killer shot, damn right put your name on it before posting it to the internet.
